The unborn ghosts : Advice for Life

This was a quote from an article which dealt with the very delicate issue of assisted suicide, after the author’s mother (Bruce Fogle) died having refused food to hasten her demise.

It’s certainly a controversial subject, but I wasn’t going to use this blog to debate the rights of dying, but rather to rejoice in the act of living by re-quoting some of the author’s mother’s most poignant pieces of advice.

Advice for life

“Don’t let petty squabbles obstruct your relationships”

“Have more sex. Tender touch is what we all need”

“Be content with what you have”

“Feel the grass under your bare feet”

“Stop! Marvel at life.”

I think that just about says it all – what a wonderful way to look back at a life!
