Case Study – Iffley Blue Comment Cards
“The perfect blend of elegance and practicality”
Iffley Blue
Service: Design, creation & production of Comment Cards
Date: Nov-15
Client Brief
Background: Iffley Blue is the in-house restaurant at Hawkwell Hotel, situated in the village of Iffley on the outskirts of Oxford.
Brief: Nobleword was engaged to design Comment Cards for the Iffley Blue restaurant. Iffley Blue wanted something distinctive, easy-to-read, and which would encourage diners to leave their comments.
Result: It was decided to go for A6-sized cards, printed on 300g paper to allow them to stand on their own, like mini menus, and to encourage the guests to pick them up, look at them, and use them.
Other features:
- Quick-fill option: simplified tick-box structure + section for waiter to pre-fill details
- Extended free text: lined page to allow for more extensive comments
- Online invitation: to post comments on TripAdvisor, Facebook, or Twitter
Comment Cards are so important these days, it’s vital to get them right. Matt managed to come up with a design which was the perfect blend of elegance and practicality – it’s a difficult balance to get right. We’re delighted!
